This is me, myself and I grow up like other normal kids do but I am not lucky as what my kids now or any other children around that they got their own TV their own Computer they got brand new shoes and clothes anytime.
I grow up with nothing in our house aside from bed table and couple of bench to seat on. Yet we got good, fresh , and healthy food on our table 3 times a day! I walked to school daily from elementary to high school. Its just only across the road and i can hear the school bell rang.
I normally goes to church every Sunday with my other siblings and my mom. Since we had no TV at home me and my other siblings just always play together. During summer we help our parents working from day and night at our Field. We grow rice, corn, and Green Beans. This is he only way that we can earn a living. Working on our farm. We also had some coconuts , sweet potatoes and bananas.
You can see me on fairway always not on mall, not on restaurant i seldom go out and eat, i love to cook. I always stay at home and seat in my PC from dawn to dark, seems i can not live without this.
In fact never had Computer, i am only 21 when i was in Hongkong learning about basic computer. I remember I spend days and night in computer learning center study the parts of PC, DOS, windows excel, lotus 1 2 3, word processing...etc. that was a long while ago. Yes i got my certificate and i am so proud that i made a good decision. I am proud 'coz I am in HK learning and working at same time helping my siblings back home in my own country Philippines. I had to work and study so I can send my siblings to university to get there own degree, lucky they are, don't they, i had to work and send myself to get my own degree and i was so great, happy and feel proud that without me my siblings won't be able to reach their dreams.
Its not easy for me as a young child to separate from my siblings and parents. Beside at my age i don't know how to protect my own self, i can't even cook. Lucky I am willing to learn how to cook do any daily chores as any woman that should do.
I am lucky that i got good pay, i got good Boss, I am able to get back home every 6 months with my boss' expense and travelling allowance to see my sibling and relatives back home. I am so proud of my boss they are very supportive to me.
Now i feel that step by step little by little my dreams keep coming true! so far so good. Life is so great!
Life is short so we had to enjoy every minute of our life. Make sure choose the right path of life. I dunno if i made the right path but as of now i am happy feel great and beside doing well being away from my siblings. I am living with my own family now.
